Gearbox Overhauls
Gearboxes keep important production machinery, like your extruder, running smoothly. We provide a range of services from Borescope Inspections to complete reverse-engineering and overhaul of obsolete gearboxes. We perform our gearbox overhauls for plastics companies with the help of in-house dynamic balancing up to 5,000 pounds and no-load spin testing.
Many of our plastics partners take advantage of the fact that we are a FLENDER Service Partner providing Sales & Service of both new gear drives as well as FLENDER Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) spare parts. C&K is also an authorized repair center for SEW-Eurodrive systems.
Gear Manufacturing
In addition to complete overhauls, we provide precision gear manufacturing for plastics companies according to American Gear Manufacturers Association (AGMA) and DIN standards. We can make precision-ground helical, double helical, and internal or external spur gearing. Materials include thru-hardened, carburized, and induction-hardened options.
Our gear manufacturing capabilities include reverse-engineering services and service factor upgrades to get you a gear that works as intended, if not better. These services are available for emergency and on-site support.
Rotating Equipment Repair
Your facility might include a wide range of rotating equipment, and we can service it with strategies like dynamic balancing and shaft straightening. Our Welding & Fabrication Department and our Thermal Spray & Grinding Department provide repair and dimensional restoration services as well as protective coatings for and added longevity.
Borescope Inspections
