Industrial Valve Outside Sales Representative – Boston Region
Location: Westfield, MA | Job Type: Full Time | Pay Type: Salary
Description: Chalmers & Kubeck is seeking an Industrial Outside Sales Representative servicing a territory around Boston and surrounding areas. Our Sales Representatives are responsible for all aspects of our sales cycle from cold calls to identifying and discussing opportunities with maintenance and operations managers to following up with purchasing managers to ensure successful payment.
Responsibilties: Full-time position
Standard times we meet our customers is Monday - Friday 8:00a - 4:30p
Overtime when needed, including some Saturdays
Site visits and phone calls to customers identifying and discussing opportunities with maintenance and operations managers
Ability to multi-task and maintain a friendly attitude with our customers and team members
Use Outlook, Excel, and Word
Use email and smartphones to communicate effectively, efficiently and in a timely manner
Use CRM to communicate with C&K staff and prioritize activity
Pass pre-employment drug test and ongoing random drug testing
Maintain a clean driving record and possess a valid driver's license
Read, write and speak English fluently
Willing to undergo a background check
Education & Experience: High School or Equivalent
Qualifications: Past work experience with relief valves such as Consolidated, Kunkle, Farris
Past work experience with line valves such as Velan, Powell, Weir
Past work experience with valve actuation such as Limitorque, Auma, Rotork
Experience in machining and industrial maintenance practices are not required but will set the successful candidate apart
Experience with industrial maintenance activities and outage planning is beneficial
Other duties as assigned
